This episode about the breakthrough art curriculum now known as Evolve, was originally recorded in late 2016 after I heard about an illustrator who had left the professional world and had created an art school where the students were getting amazingly consistent results and winning all kinds of contests and scholarships.
When I first did this interview I had no idea where it would end up taking me because it’s completely changed my life and set the course of the last two years. This interview set in motion the idea of taking this proven art curriculum and finding a way to deliver it to people all over the world so the results could be made available to anyone, no matter where they are.
In a nutshell, this is the curriculum I wish that I had been able to access when I was about 12 years old and knew that I wanted to be an artist. This art curriculum would’ve taken me right from the beginning and given me simple exercises that would allow me to gradually build my skill in a logical way where my confidence would naturally grow with each completed exercise.
So now, here we are two years later and we’ve just completed the first year of bringing this program to people all over the world. There are students in 37 different countries and the results they been getting are so inspiring.
To preface the future episodes the podcast I thought it would be good to go back and revisit this original interview so you could have an idea of where everything started you have context for the entire story which will be coming up very soon.
