Thanks to everyone who took part in the TeamPK GiveBack Campaign 2015!
It was great to see so many artists getting involved and sending their work in, and we hope to raise as much money as possible to your chosen charity, The Monster Project.
So what was the #TeamPK GiveBack Campaign about?
The #TeamPK GiveBack Campaign was an exciting art project where we asked our Community Members to submit their art to be featured on a wall calendar for 2016.
Artists simply had to post their work in the Pencil Kings Community, and everyone could ‘Like’ each other’s work to choose the most popular images to be featured.
We also asked our members to vote for their favorite charity from a list of four worthy causes. Here’s how the voting worked out:The Monster Project was the most popular charity, getting a huge 51 percent of everyone’s votes.
Here’s how it works:
Kids draw monsters, then artists from all over the world recreate them in their own styles!
The Monster Project hopes to help children recognize the power of their own imaginations and to encourage them to pursue their creative potential.
Here are just some of the awesome monsters created in 2015. You can view the complete gallery of over 100 monsters here.
