Hi Mitch, came upon your site a few months back, and I have to say, although I’m a pretty good artist when it comes to realistic things, I always struggled with “simple” cartooning. Always wanted to add too much detail, because my own version of “simple” art always looked, well… amateurish. Cartooning is definitely a skill which many people do not appreciate. It’s hard to draw “simple” things, and have them look so good! Your material has rapidly begun to change all that. Now I’m better able to see how to make “simple” look good. And so far, for the most part… it’s easy!! The frustration is gone at least, and now cartooning is fun. So thanks! =)

Mitch’s lessons are very good because he talks to the viewer/student slowly and naturally. No rapid chatter I’ve heard/watched before and have to stop and go to grasp what’s been shown. This is a great feature, tnx Mitch. I also like the encouraging reminder about learning from our mistakes.
