This is actually a problem that many artists have when they first start to draw the mouth and you’re going to learn in lesson one how to overcome this by understanding the mouth as a three dimensional object. If you learn just one thing from these video lessons on drawing mouths, this one may make the biggest impact on your drawing to give you natural looking mouths.
What You Will Learn
These video drawing lessons will teach you how to draw a mouth with a system that is both easy to understand and will give you great looking results. Sycra Yasin is a master at breaking down the face into easy to understand parts and will be your instructor for this series.
The next thing you will be learn is how to draw the lips using a very simple system that breaks the lips down into simple shapes so that you can draw nice, full lips that have depth to them. You’ll also learn about basic shading of the lips as well as where not to shade.
In the last few lessons more advanced topics will be covered like what the main differences are between mouths on male and female characters, where to place the mouth on the face in perfect proportion and how to properly open the mouth.
